If your character is travelling, perhaps they will move through many different landscapes such as in The Lord of the Rings. Will the sea feature prominently in your story? Or perhaps the story will be set in the mountains. Will your story take place in a city, the suburbs or somewhere more remote? Which nation, if any, will form the backdrop of your story? If it’s a fantasy story, you may be able to create your own magical land.
